Carriers

Staring: Chris Pine & Lou Taylor Pucci
Rating: 3 out of 5 stars

Carriers is a sureal look at the end of humanity through the eyes of 4 survivors of a deadly virus. Unlike many other similar stories, Carriers follows two brothers and shows just how far people would really have to go in order to survive something of this nature. Its raw and graphic and made me wonder if this is how the people who lived through the plauge felt.

Poseidon (2006)

Staring: Kurt Russell & Richard Dreyfuss
Rating: 4 out of 5 Stars

Every bit as dramatic and action packed as the original. All it's lacking is the charachter development the original had, which is more than made up for by the special effects. Very entertaining edge of your seat movie, every bit as good as the original.

John Q

Staring: Denzel Washington, Robert Duvall, Anne Heche, & James Woods
Rating: 5 out of 5 stars

The underrated Denzel Washington, gives an oscar worthy performance as John Q, a man willing to do anything to save the life of his son. This movie shows two things. How heartless the rich and powerful can truly be and how one man can make a difference. This is a powerful movie that shows how strong the relationship between father and son can be and just how important it is for every person in the country to have health care.

The Final

Staring: Marc Donato
Rating: 4 out of 5 stars

This movie was VERY well written. Marc Donato was a little flat and got on my nerves after a while, but the idea was unique, the story was great, and most of the young, inexperienced cast did a great job. If you're a fan of the horror genre, definatly check this one out!

The American

Staring: George Clooney
Rating: 1 out of 5 stars

This movie was just plain terrible! It was pointless and watching it, was like watching paint dry. Clooney hardly speaks, everything was predictable, nothing made sense or was explained. It was just a complete waste of time. The one interesting thing I did want to mention is that throughout the movie, director Anton Corbijn shows everything done so methodically and wants to be as realistic as possible, however Clooney is seen driving on the left side of the car and on the right side of the road in Europe. Like the movie, even the setting has a huge hole in it. Honestly guys, dont even waste your time on this one.

Devil's Den

Staring: Devon Sawa & Kelly Hu
Rating: 3 out of 5 Stars

Devil's Den is pretty much just another cheezy action-horror flick, but what makes it different is the comical aspect, and of course Devon Sawa. Sawa is great in everything he's in and this is no exception. His 90's teen idol status, makes his very underrated as an actor, but honestly it's his performance makes this worth watching.

Extreme Ops

Staring: Devon Sawa, Bridgette Wilson, & Rufus Sewell
Rating: 3 out of 5 Stars

The stunts, the action, and the eye candy was incredible. The storyline was strong and this movie could have been great, if they had focused as much attention on the story and the conflict as they did on the stunts. All in all, very entertaining, eventhou there isn't much substance to it.
