Dinner For Schmucks

Staring: Steve Carrell, Paul Rudd, & Zach Galifianakis
Rating: 4 out of 5 Stars

To be honest, I find most movies in the "stupid funny" genre to just be stupid and a waste of time, but I like Paul Rudd and Zack Galifianakis so I gave it a shot, and I'm glad I did. It was definatly one of the funniest movies I've seen in a while.

The Midnight Meat Train

Staring: Bradley Cooper, Leslie Bibb, & Brooke Shields
Rating: 2 out of 5 Stars

A gory, scary, horror film with an actual storyline! This movie should have been a can't miss and for the first hour it seemed that way. The movie progressed and it got weirder and weirder and then the ending just absolutly killed it.

Wanted

Staring: James McAvoy, Angelina Jolie, & Morgan Freeman
Rating: 5 out of 5 Stars

Let me start out by saying that I no way endorse ANYTHING Angelina Jolie is in, however wanted is impossible, ridiculous, and one hell of a ride! We don't watch movies to experience the predictible or only what's possible. Wanted is exciting, well written, full of twists, and well worth the price of admission.

Push

Staring: Dakota Fanning, Chris Evans, & Djimon Hounsou
Rating: 4 out of 5 Stars

WOW! This is a good movie, very entertaining, with lots of action! The storyline was a bit confusing at times thou, and it was left wide open as if a sequel is a given. Weather they do eventually make one or not is irrelevant. As of right now, I'm left wondering what happens, feeling like I'm missing a part of the story, and craving more!

Levity

Staring: Billy Bob Thornton, Morgan Freeman, Holly Hunter, & Kirsten Dunst
Rating: 3 out of 5 Stars

This movie has an amazing cast, but it was a bit slow moving for me. If this was a book that I could put down and pick up at will, it would have easily been 5 stars. It is so well written, but as a movie, it was quite slow.

Joe The King

Staring: Noah Fliess & Karen Young
Rating: 3 out of 5 Stars

What a depressing movie!? That poor kid! It really makes you wonder just how many kids are suffering the same way on a daily basis right under our noses. I'll tell ya one thing, this movie sure makes you appreciate what you've got.

Children of The Corn 666: Isaac's Return

Staring: Stacy Keach & Nancy Allen
Rating: 3 out of 5 Stars

This was probably the best written out of all of the Children of the Corn movies, however it really didnt fit with the storyline. First of all, there weren't any children in it, (except for Issac) there weren't any recurring charachters, and there was even a steamy sex scene?! It was entertaining and very well written, but it wasn't your typical Children of The Corn movie. I have to admit, I was kind of dissapointed.
